My wife and I had a wonderful time during our recent visit to Madikwe. The staff at Motswiri Private Safari Lodge were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. We were treated to daily game drives where we had close encounters with elephants and witnessed a wild dog kill. The chalets were beautifully rustic and had all the amenities we needed, including air conditioning and a cozy gas fireplace for the cold nights. The food was exceptional, thanks to the talented chef who catered to our dietary preferences. We felt relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed the magical surroundings of Madikwe.
Totally recommend this hotel.

We recently stayed at Motswiri Lodge for a wonderful holiday. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even washing our car without being asked. The rooms were spacious, clean, and separate cottages around the waterhole. The game drives were excellent, with numerous sightings of lions, elephants, and rhinos. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious. The lodge had a good WiFi signal in common areas. Highly recommended for an African safari experience!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Our stay at this small and cozy lodge was worth every penny. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering a peaceful retreat after adventurous game drives. Situated in a prime location, we had the privilege of enjoying breathtaking views of wildlife right from our cottage. The staff at the lodge went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensured that all our needs were met with a smile.
As for breakfast, a wider variety of items would have made it even more enjoyable.

We had a fantastic stay at this intimate lodge in the heart of the safari. The location was perfect, with a waterhole nearby where we saw many animals. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and we loved the outside shower surrounded by trees. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home. The food was exceptional, with delicious meals and a great breakfast spread. We also enjoyed the game drives, with knowledgeable guides who made the experience unforgettable.
The lodge is a bit far from the entrance, resulting in a long drive.

A Wonderful Christmas Experience
I recently had the pleasure of staying at a lodge in a beautiful location over the Christmas holidays. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms by the friendly and attentive staff. The lodge itself was impeccably maintained, with the team visiting twice daily to ensure it remained spotless. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional food, especially the Christmas dinner which was simply awesome. The chef and the entire team went above and beyond to create a memorable dining experience. As for the safari, our ranger was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, making each drive a truly unforgettable adventure. The game reserve itself was teeming with wildlife, providing scenes straight out of a National Geographic program. my time at this lodge was beyond perfect, and I highly recommend it.
Although my stay was exceptional in every way, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The bed was a bit firmer than I would have preferred, and the lighting in the toilet area was somewhat dim.
